At Eco Forestry and Land Management we take pride in being able to provide the environmentally conscious landowner solutions on removing a valuable highly renewable resource from their forest while maintaining a healthy, diverse ecosystem which can continue to provide a resource for generations to come.
Like you, we have a deep compassion and love of the Australian bush, and use techniques to ensure that our wildlife, including our national icon, the koala, can continue to find a home once operations are complete. Unlike machine harvester operations, we only utilise hand falling by highly skilled technicians. They assess each tree by walking up to it and before falling check for signs of koala activity and other endangered species and will happily leave additional feed and habitat trees according to the owner’s requests. By hand falling, our technicians can also decide where best to land the tree so as to minimise unnecessary damage to the surrounding trees and understory. This allows the faller to be very selective according to how the landowner wishes to manage their property. We offer a variety of options from ‘thinning’ your forest to more commercial sized operations depending on the landowner’s requirements and conditions of the acquired approvals. All operations are strictly conducted within current EPA and Local Land Services' regulations, guidelines and Codes of Practice.
